Enduring Understandings
What is it? Organizing involves making artistic choices about composition, materials, symbolism along with the formal design principles to add meaning while creating the most aesthetically pleasing design. When you start this step, you should have already narrowed down your ideas to ONE concept and are making different decisions to see which most effectively expresses your idea. By the end, you should have a plan for materials, color, composition, and decided what steps you are going to follow in order to complete your project. What does it look like?
Visual Journal: Process
Show how you used your materials, composition, and be able to explain the visual choices you made to enhance the meaning or message of your piece. Your reflection should show and explain EVIDENCE of where your current skill level is at and explain your choices of compositional arrangement, materials, and design. How Do I Know if I'm Done?
